Passengers Stuck on Cruise Ship Because of Fungal Growth

The Viking Orion cruise ship was prevented from docking Down Under due to fungal growth on the ship’s hull. It was supposed to visit cities like Melbourne and Christchurch, but instead the Orion’s 930 passengers were stuck onboard. According to a statement from Australia's Department of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Forestry, this was done "To protect the marine ecosystems within Australian waters.” Inside Edition Digital has more.
