92-Year-Old Awarded Grand Canyon Hiking Guinness World Record

Ninety-two-year-old Alfredo Aliaga Burdio from Spain is officially a Guinness World Record holder. He is the oldest person to cross the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim on foot. The 24-mile hike took 21 hours and 15 minutes. Alfredo trained hard leading up to the hike, walking about eight miles a day. Julian has always been athletic. Walking was a hobby he shared with his late wife. He shared his story with Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall.
